Dr. Melissa Neu is a strategic leadership consultant, facilitator, trainer, and speaker who helps leaders and organizations navigate complexity, lead across differences, and transform strategy into meaningful action.
As the founder of The Cultural Expedition Co., Melissa works at the intersection of leadership development, intercultural communication, organizational strategy, and experiential learning. Her approach is purpose-driven, participatory, and grounded in the belief that meaningful transformation happens when people are invited to examine perspectives, engage with difference, practice new ways of thinking and leading, and connect learning to real-world challenges.
Melissa brings a distinctive combination of academic expertise, practical leadership experience, and more than two decades as a professional actor and educator. She holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University, a Master of Arts in International and Intercultural Communication and a Master of Professional Studies in Organizational Communication from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.
She is President-Elect of SIETAR USA, the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research, and serves as a communication educator in higher education.
Whether consulting with an organization, facilitating a leadership experience, training a team, or speaking to an audience, Melissa creates engaging spaces where people can think differently, connect more deeply, and leave better prepared to lead.
